A business flyer with a QR code should make two things clear: what you offer and how someone can take the next step. For a salon, that might be booking a service. For a restaurant, it might be viewing a menu. For a local service business, it could be requesting a quote.
Choose one main action before designing the flyer. A code pointing to a relevant page is more useful than several unlabeled codes competing with your offer.
Create my business flyerMatch the flyer to the customer action
| Business | Flyer message | QR destination | Suggested label |
|---|---|---|---|
| Salon or wellness service | A named service and appointment offer | Booking page | Scan to book |
| Restaurant or café | Menu, opening or seasonal offer | Menu or ordering page | View the menu |
| Fitness studio | Class, location and trial details | Class signup page | Book a class |
| Home or professional service | What you do and the area you serve | Enquiry form | Request a quote |
These are ways to organize the message, not promises of increased bookings. The quality of the offer and destination page still matters.
Provide the details before asking for a design
Give the Image Agent your business name, the offer, any exact price or date, the contact information, your preferred style and the link. Upload a real photo or logo when those details need to appear.
Create a flyer for [business name], a [business type] in [location].
Promote [specific service or offer] to [intended customers].
Headline: [headline]. Essential details: [price, dates and contact].
Use [my uploaded photo/logo] and [brand colors].
Include a real QR code for [my complete booking or enquiry URL].
Label it [Scan to book / Request a quote].
Make the offer and next step easy to find.

Keep the offer readable before adding more information
A customer should be able to identify the business, understand the promotion and find the next step. Long service lists, multiple offers and several codes can make a small flyer difficult to read.
Ask for an adjustment that addresses the actual problem: “Make the introductory offer larger,” “Remove the extra service list,” or “Keep the booking code beside the contact information.” You can request a code that blends into a light part of the design without asking for a separate box.
For an existing business flyer, add the code to your current artwork rather than recreating the whole promotion.
Check the booking journey
Before sharing, open the destination as a customer would. Does it show the right service? Are availability, price and location clear? Can a new visitor complete the form without an unexpected account requirement?
Then scan the exported flyer and confirm the exact destination. Review the version you plan to distribute, including any social-platform compression. A printed handout needs a physical proof; a successful digital check is not a print guarantee.
If the business has no booking page, use a relevant contact page you control. BrandGene does not invent a booking service, shorten your destination automatically or provide a dynamic QR analytics dashboard through this workflow.
Follow up in the same conversation
You can request changes such as:
- “Move the booking QR to the top right, away from the offer.”
- “Keep the website code and remove the social-profile code.”
- “Use ‘Request a quote’ as the label.”
- “Keep the design; make the booking code larger if there is room.”
State when the destination must change. Moving a code preserves its link; it does not update an old booking URL. If your next promotion is an event, see the event flyer guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a website to use a business flyer QR code? You need a destination people can open, such as your booking page, menu or contact form. Supply that link yourself and check it before sharing.
Can I include both booking and social-profile codes? Yes. Label their different purposes and keep the main customer action prominent. More codes are not automatically more useful.
Can I change the offer later? You can request artwork edits in the conversation. Reapply the real QR code afterward and check the updated details and destination.
Is adding a code another paid image generation? QR encoding and placement use zero credits. Creating or regenerating the flyer artwork uses the normal image-generation credits.
